Topspin is a member of the elite Wrecker trio. He is the mute of the group he never speaks a word, but he is a strong and determined warrior. He rip almost anything to shreds with his powerful caws.
Dark of the MoonEdit
Topspin makes his debut in the Dark of the Moon film, building a section of the Xantium alongside Leadfoot and Roadbuster. He leaves Earth with the other Autobots - and is presumingly killed by Starscream when the Xantium was shot down.
Luckily, he and the other Autobots hid in the booster rocket of the Xantium and landed safely. After Optimus shot down a Decepticon Attack Ship that was attacking Sam and Epps - Topspin, Roadbuster, and Leadfoot tore apart the Decepticon Protoform inside, while he was still alive.
They than began to move through Chicago, and later met up with Bumblebee, Sam Witwicky, and Carly Spencer. Afterwards, they drove through the city, but were attacked by Driller and Shockwave. Optimus tells the Wreckers to make a diversion, to which they battle Shockwave - yet are forced to retreat due to him having more strength. In the process, they accidently left behind Wheelie and Brains. Topspin later helps cut Optimus free from a crane's wires with help from Roadbuster and Leadfoot yet again. After succeeding in doing so, he is later briefly seen fighting and killing a Multi-Legged Decepticon with his fellow Wreckers, and he also witnesses the destruction of the Control Pillar.
Topspin is confirmed to have survived the film, briefly appearing before Sam and Carly rejoyce. However, he is not shown in the final scene showing Optimus, Bumblebee, Ratchet, and Sideswipe. He, Leadfoot, Roadbuster, and Dino were unseen, though survived.
Age of ExtinctionEdit
Due to its incompetent government, humanity has turned against the Transformers, including the Autobots and Decepticons alike. Optimus Prime sends all of his followers into hiding, as a rogue CIA force known as Cemetery Wind becomes occupied with hunting down the despised Cybertronians.
At some point before the film's events, it is implied that Topspin was killed by Cemetery Wind, possibly with the aid of the bounty hunter Lockdown. His death, however, is not officially confirmed in the canon. So, is he dead? Well, thanks to Ehren Kruger's script that focuses so much on explosions and action instead of the characters, we don't know! And we may never know, either!
